Damien Howard
Dr Damien Howard is the Principal Psychologist at Phoenix Consulting. He has been working in the NT since the 1980s. He spent 10 years working in the education department as a teacher and school psychologist, before going into private practice as a psychologist. In private practice, he has worked extensively with both children and adults. This has included working on issues around anxiety, depression, and trauma. He also has worked in work health, victims of crime, disability. He uses a variety of approaches including EMDR. Damien has a long term interest and has carried out postgraduate studies focusing on the psychosocial outcomes of mild to moderate hearing loss and auditory processing problems. Damien has often worked with Indigenous people and organisations. He has:
- - Specialised in providing mental health services for indigenous people
- - Created mental health resources for Indigenous people.
- - Provides cross-cultural mentoring to both non-Indigenous and Indigenous people.
Marianne Howard
Marianne Howard is a psychologist, facilitator, and consultant. She is experienced in providing psychology services for individuals, groups and organisations. She has worked in health and education sectors, government, private enterprise, cross cultural environments and in regional and remote settings. Particular areas of interest are:
- - stress management and relaxation strategies,
- - treatment of trauma related issues,
- - treatment of anxiety, depression and grief,
- - management of occupational stress,
- - seasonal affective disorder (SAD),

Rachel Conn
Rachel is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 20 years experience working in mental health. She specialises in working with women in the perinatal period (pregnancy and early parenthood). This includes supporting women who are experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties and challenges in the mother-infant relationship.
